Registration Tidbits
New Registration System: We have a new registration system for the 2025 season. You will need to create a new account. If you have any questions, PLEASE don’t hesitate to reach out to Tyler. We understand this is a change and we want to be there to support this transition. Email director@campjoyminnesota.org with your questions.

Camper T-shirt: The registration fee covers a camper t-shirt through April 30th. Registrations received after April 30th will be assessed a $15.00 charge.
Discounts: Camp Joy understands camp can be expensive. We want to help you save cost and reduce obstacles to attend camp. See below for ways you can save costs to attend Camp Joy.
For ALL discounts, it is vital to contact Tyler BEFORE you finalize payment. The discount will not work unless you have it FIRST and then make a payment.
Scholarship: 100% off a registration fee for qualifying applicants
Fall Teens Retreat Discount: If you attend the summer teens camp AND want to attend the fall teens weekend, we will provide a $15 discount to attend the fall teen retreat. Discount code will be provided AFTER the summer camp has been completed OR you can register for both and we will provide the code for you.
Volunteer: We provide 50% off your registration if you commit to volunteer for a full camp week. Volunteer positions include: kitchen, leading activities, and maintenance.
Camper Referral: Know a camper that hasn't been to Camp Joy in the last 3 years? Receive $25 off your registration IF you refer a camper that has not attended Camp Joy in the last 3 years.
Sibling Discount: If you are registering more than one camper, from the same household, we will provide $10 off per additional camper.
Counselor Discount: If you are a counselor and work 3 weeks at Camp Joy, we will provide your high teens week 100% off. The counselor will receive a $50 per week stipend for the weeks they work as well. Training week does NOT count as a week.

Week 2: 1st-4th Grade
June 22nd-June 25th

This is a shorter three day week allowing our littlest campers an opportunity to play, worship, and learn of God’s great Love. This week is designed for younger kids and for first time campers. It is highly supervised and a safe opportunity for the eager camper to participate. This week is the start of many great adventures and fun packed summers for kids at Camp Joy!

Family Camp

There is a family max of $360Come enjoy the lake with your family over these four days and three nights. We will house you, feed you, clean up your dishes, and you will have lots of free time on beautiful Star Lake! There will be several optional activities set up throughout the weekend, as well as chapels and a speaker.

Highly Relational! This is a week of gathering! We have saved the best for last! Less structure more fun. This week is your chance to connect with those friends you grew up with! High Teens is a chance to do all the things you enjoy! Late nights, sleeping in, an awesome speaker, seminars, and surprises along the way! This camp always “ends too soon”.

Week 7: Young Adults
Aug 14th-17th
$75 (any staff 18 and older attend this camp for free)
This retreat is for young adults aged 18-30. We bring together like-minded individuals and groups from all over the region to unite for a long weekend of amazing activities, great speaker, fantastic music, and more coffee and food than you’ll know what to do with. Join in the many activities of camp or if you’d rather simply hang out with friends and meet some new people we’ve got plenty of space for that as well.
So come reconnect with your friends and rekindle your relationship with God in a place free of distractions and surrounded by His creation.
Scholarship Policy: Camp Joy believes every camper should have the opportunity to experience God's amazing grace and love at Camp Joy. For this reason, we don't want financial reasons to prevent a camper from coming to Camp Joy. If your camper needs financial assistance, reach out to director@campjoyminnesota.org on how to apply.
We can only provide one scholarship per camper per summer.
Camp Joy Summer Camp Policies
Refund Policy: All registrations require a non-refundable deposit of $50 (full payment will be collected at checkout). In the event of cancellation, the balance (less deposit) of a paid in-full registration will be refunded if Camp Joy is notified at least two weeks PRIOR to the expected arrival. The total balance WITHIN two weeks of the expected arrival is non-refundable. Please sign below if you agree to this policy.
Cell Phone Policy: Camp is an opportunity to set aside the device and engage in a community. Parents, please keep devices with you. If not, we will ask for them at check-in and return them after the week. If cell phones are seen, staff will politely confiscate them, and we will return them at the end of the week. This eliminates many possible issues and gives every camper a better chance to enjoy camp and what it offers. Please sign below to agree to this policy.
Come Once, Leave Once Policy: To better serve our campers, staff and leadership, we have adopted the policy of come once and leave once. If a camper decides to leave camp either by their own doing (high school week) or with a predetermined guardian, they will not be allowed to return to Camp Joy.
